Water flows on the Snake River are influenced by the Jackson Lake Dam which is run by the Bureau of Reclamation. The Bureau together with the National Park Service provide spring-release flushing flows in May and June. Then, during July through September, 1500-2100 cubic feet per second of flow is released.
